Nageswarar Pooja Photo Gallery
The first and foremost temple to be found and situated at Tiruchengode is the Nageswarar Temple. This famed temple, known for its intricate sculptures, is said to have been constructed by Veetuvaraja Allalan Ilaiyanaagan who ruled in Paramathi.

On every 1st Sunday during the Tamil month of Aavani, 1008 Kalasas (Vessels) are kept and a Yaaga Pooja and Kalasa Pooja is being conducted at the Nageswarar sanctuary for the past few years.

On the 1st Sunday of every Tamil Month from 4.30 pm to 6.00 pm the festival committee of the Nageswarar temple organizes special poojas, worships and lamp poojas on a grand scale. This sanctuary is also famously called as Nagachalam. It is believed that if unmarried women and men with the Nagasarpadhosam and other dhoshams attend this pooja and worship here, their marriages would take place without any glitches.
